Estate Event Rentals

The estate has gone through a number of changes over the years.  Much of the land has been sold and the property now consists of 14 acres of lawns and beautiful woodlands.  A series of families have lived here and for many years it was the summer camp for the local children. After being purchased by the Town of Marshfield and undergoing extensive renovation, it was the Pilgrim Hall Museum’s 2005 Designer Show House.  This was the beginning of a new chapter in the life of this historic estate.

Presently, the Daniel Webster Preservation Trust oversees the estate.  It is available for celebrations such as weddings, special occasion parties as well corporate meetings and seminars.  During the first week of December interior and floral designers work their magic and the estate is transformed into  a sparkling holiday wonderland.

RENTAL RATES AND GUIDELINES

Rental is based on an eight hour time frame allowing for a five hour event, two hours for set up and one hour for breakdown.

Mansion capacity is 70 for formal sit-down dinners, Stations or Buffet. For larger parties, we suggest combining the Mansion and the use of a tent on one of our lawns. Cocktail Hour may be inside the Mansion or outside, on our beautiful veranda.

Daniel Webster Estate has a separate kitchen area with modern amenities including a spacious sink, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. The Estate has A/C for your comfort and is fully handicap accessible on the first floor only.
